Open Door Productions conducts professional development in communication skills to the professional services, corporate, business, educational and arts sectors, in the fields of presentation and negotiation. We deliver consulting and coaching expertise as facilitators, professional role-players, directors and scriptwriters. Our methods involve intensive skills immersion, helping clients to maximise communication effectiveness in their professional roles. Clients practise core interactive techniques to enhance success with the broadest range of client and listener types. With detailed analytical models, our customised experiential sessions offer a laboratory for experiment with the individual's approach and temperament in an entertaining, collegial atmosphere. Our goal is to foster personally resilient and emotionally aware management of oneself and others in response to challenging situations.

Formats

• One on One Helping individuals develop personal communicative skills through intensive face-to-face coaching with intensive practice of micro-skills, often honed under questioning pressure.
• Small Group Working with groups of up to sixteen with two to three facilitators, including professional role players, involving intensive team negotiation, interviewing and problem-solving.
• Large Group Customised demonstrational workshops and conferences for up to 150, offering scripted or improvisational vignettes, followed by intensive interactive analysis according to established communication models.

GABRIELLE GAZAL

Gabrielle Gazal is a Sydney-based consultant and coach in communication skills. Her career spans 30 years in the corporate, professional, educational and arts sectors. In education, theatre, business and corporate environments, she has focused on the transformation of conflict through attitudinal change, the development of personal communication skills and the art and science of empowering individual performance. As a teacher of english and drama, she is a qualified educator in both adolescent and adult spaces. She was from 1991 to 1997 director of Open Door Theatre Company, Sydney, and since 1997 has been director of Open Door Productions.

NICHOLAS FROST

Nicholas Frost is a Sydney-based consultant and coach in communication skills. Nicholas has built a career on the development of individual potential through communication and performance, with emphasis on interactive dynamics. For 30 years, he has conceived and led workshops in artistic, educational, business and corporate environments. He is also a teacher of drama, theatre director, scriptwriter, yoga teacher and musician. Total Drama, his text on interactive communication skills, has been published by Macmillan Education Australia since 2010. Nicholas holds interstate training workshops for drama teachers based on this publication. He was a co-founder and director of Free Theatre Christchurch, New Zealand, in the 1980s. He was from 1991 to 1997 director of Open Door Theatre Company, Sydney, and since 1997 has been a principal of Open Door Productions.
